Fire Stopping & Penetration Sealing

Teams will drill service penetrations in voids in the walls, floors & ceilings to install these services. Wires, pipes, and ventilation ducts must frequently pass through compartment walls or floors to do this.

Fire Door Surveys
Approved Document B and its subsequent incorporations regulate each part of a fire door. Regulations were modified in January 2023 to allow building owners and landlords greater control over the integrity and safety of fire doors. For instance, Fron Entrance Doors (FED’s) and community fire doors need to be examined annually and leas once every three months, respectively.
